Housed in the College of Communication and Information, the Tombras School of Advertising and Public Relations makes history as the first named school at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and the first named school of advertising and public relations in the SEC and among all land-grant institutions in the country. The School honors the legacies of Charles Tombras, Sr. and Charles Tombras, Jr. and the indelible imprint the Tombras agency has made on the industry.
The Tombras School will help improve the industry’s representation by increasing high school students’ awareness of careers in advertising and public relations and support them throughout their education.
